If I would ask “What is your story” – what would you say?
My story really begins when I left England straight after university to follow my heart and dreams.  I married my soul mate, a French man, and together we lived and worked all over the world; six different countries, three continents, moving a total of nine times in twelve years.  My whole life story has been one of moving, learning and collecting treasure.

By moving our family and life to so many different countries around the world; France, Spain, Singapore, Seychelles, and Mauritius, for example, we learned so much about people, cultures, beliefs and how it feels to leave the security of home for a destination which is completely unknown, where everything is unfamiliar, and really learned what it takes to rebuild a life from scratch without a support network.

Through the many different chapters, each brought me precious treasures; my children, good friends from all corners of the world and life experiences, both joyful and painful, which all made life richer and me much stronger and wiser.  I’m still writing my life story, and who knows how it will end, but the current chapter I’m in as I’m interviewed today, began with me returning to the UK four years ago, after what was an adult lifetime abroad, with nothing but a suitcase and my children having lost my soul mate, my family…life had been shattered in to a million pieces.

My children and I turned to England, because it was supposed to be “home”, but having spent so long as a migrant woman, it felt more like I was emigrating to a new country rather than coming home.  Good job I had a whole life’s worth of experience of starting from scratch.  To cut a long story short, the emotional and financial ground zero I once faced, quickly became the foundations for building a new life and building a new heart-centered business which has quite literally become the expression of my life purpose and my deepest passion: empowering other professional mothers.

When you live in one or more different countries and immerse yourself in a new and different way of life you open yourself up to a range of experiences, emotions and perspectives that simply would not exist in one place.

You have already started a successful business which is related with women – what made you start this initiative?
My twenty year journey as a full-time executive and entrepreneurial mum taught me so many lessons about what it really takes to start and grow a successful business. No amount of training or studies could teach me the biggest and most important lessons, I had to learn these the hard way. Today, my life purpose is to bring this knowledge and a much needed holistic and loving approach to supporting women in fulfilling their own business and lifestyle dreams. I believe mothers are often the rock and the glue in the family, and by empowering and supporting mothers we are helping more women to make a two-fold contribution to a better world, through amazing business and raising amazing young adults.

How do you find the experience working with women and what is your vision of this project?
Empowering women to achieve their heart’s desires, and having the privilege to be a partner with them on this transformational journey, simply makes my soul sing. My vision is for CEO Mums to be helping women across the world to Cherish Every Opportunity in their lives and enjoy every step of their own journey, wherever that may take them.

What are some tips you would share with us a business woman?
All successful people have one thing in common, they have a clear and compelling vision they feel passionate about, based on a personal “why” (why am I in business, why do I do what I do) which is always based on more than simply making money.  Successful people also have a good plan for how they are going to make that vision a reality and they consistently take focused action.

What is your strongest point in business?
My strongest point in business is being able to help others get in their “20%” zone, where based on the Pareto principle; 20% of our efforts lead to 80% of our results. As a personal example, in little over twelve months, I’ve created a multi-award winning business, including “Most inspiring Coach/Mentor 2015” and “New Business/Start Up of the Year”, brought together over 350 like-minded women in an inspirational community, whilst most importantly doing it on my terms, whilst raising four amazing children, and being able to cherish every step of the journey.

How do you manage difficulties in everyday life?
The top three things which have helped overcome difficulties and challenges in my own life are: Stay true to my own values, follow my heart and trust my intuition.

Do you think that appearance is important for a woman to be successful in career?
How we appear to others, our ‘personal branding’ in either our career or in our business is very important, but I’m not referring to our ‘looks’.  What really counts is how we express ourselves in the world, with authenticity, confidence and a clear sense of who we are, what we stand for and why we do what we do.

Who has supported you to become who you are today?
Most definitely my parents and my children, the amazing women I have been honoured to observe, meet and befriend from all over the world, and the incredible women who are part of the CEO Mums community.

Do you believe in luck?
I believe that those incredible opportunities which occur in life, which others often refer to as “luck”, are what start to naturally appear when a person lives their life from a place of purpose and passion, and takes focused and determined action to turning their heart’s vision in to a reality.

What are the three main points of wisdom that you can share with our readers?
If you want to go fast, go alone.  If you want to go far, go with others ~ African proverb “True happiness can only come from the journey of pursuing your own definition of success.”

Become the CEO of your own life and always Cherish Every Opportunity in your professional and personal journey, wherever that may take you in the world.
